Huge ecological experiment on
regeneration, with the spoil from the Channel Tunnel - at the foot
of the white cliffs. Birds, insects, flowers including Spider
Orchids in May/June.

Well almost. Sissinghurst Castle Garden is
offering to open the Garden for non-commercial photography on its
normally closed days of Wednesday and Thursday each week for the use
of as few as six artists or photographers from 10am to 4pm. Easels
and tripods (normally banned) will be allowed. Apply on 01580
710700, booking essential, cost £15. Commercial photographers should
enquire separately for rates and conditions.
