| Bewl Water |
The South East Region holds many of its meetings at the Bewl Water Visitor Centre in Kent. The Visitor Centre can be reached from the A21 about one mile South of Lamberhurst as shown on the map below. The turning is marked by brown tourist signs. Or view an alternative map.
The entrance is quite well
camouflaged. Approaching along the A21 from the South look out for a
sign just before a bend in the road. The entrance to Bewl Water is
on the bend.
Approaching from the North you'll see
an island in the middle of the road as you near the entrance. Take
the slip road on the island.
Once you get into the site, follow the road (taking a couple of turns to the left) to the main car park - it's about a mile. The Visitor Centre is on the far side of the car park.
Bewl Water offers many other attractions including watersports, walking, riding ..... and, of course, many photo opportunities. For more details see www.bewl.co.uk.
